Our adoption process includes:

1. Complete an adoption application form
2. Phone interview with our adoption coordinator
3. Home visit to ensure a safe environment
4. Meet and greet with the pet
5. Adoption approval and final paperwork
6. Bring your new furry family member home!

The entire process typically takes 3-5 business days, but can vary depending on the pet and your schedule.

Our adoption fees vary by animal type and age:

• Puppies (under 1 year): $300
• Adult Dogs (1-7 years): $250
• Senior Dogs (7+ years): $150
• Kittens (under 1 year): $200
• Adult Cats (1-7 years): $150
• Senior Cats (7+ years): $100

All adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness exam at our partner veterinary clinics.

Absolutely! Many of our pets do well in apartment settings. We'll work with you to find a pet whose energy level and temperament match your living situation. Some things we consider:

• Pet's exercise needs
• Noise tolerance
• Apartment size restrictions
• Landlord approval (if required)

Your donations directly support our rescue efforts:

• Medical care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, emergency treatments)
• Food and supplies for all our animals
• Shelter maintenance and utilities
• Transportation for animals in need
• Community outreach and education programs

Every $50 donation provides food and supplies for one animal for two weeks!

Yes! FurAngel Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so all donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. You will receive a tax receipt for all donations over $250.
